Erasmus


Erasmus+ program enables students from EU countries to visit the Department of Environmental Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), either for studies or within the frames of a traineeship program. Incoming students may either be at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, i.e. within a M.Sc or a Ph.D program.

Erasmus+ study program

The recognition of learning outcomes within an Erasmus+ study program in DUTH follows the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). Students may also consider conducting their undergraduate or post graduate dissertation or a part of their PhD research within DUTH. To facilitate incoming students during their Erasmus+ study program, the Department of Environmental Engineering offers in English the following modules of the undergraduate curriculum:

Erasmus+ Traineeship program

Erasmus+ Traineeship program does not require an active Interinstitutional Agreement between the sending and receiving institutions. Students interested in spending their Erasmus+ Traineeship within DUTH should send their traineeship proposal to the academic staff member they are interested to work with. If their proposal is accepted, the receiving institution will then provide them with the Letter of Acceptance.
